This a beautiful piece and I love that is a unique handmade piece. The only suggestion I have is to use a different size coffee sock. The one included is 8 1/2" while the Chorreador is 11" so the sock extends into the cup. I have purchased a large 5 /2" sock made by TicoTec Chorreadors.
A proper size sock and I would score this 5 stars.
I first discovered real coffee in 1982 on the patio of the Gran Hotel , long before it was taken over by Hilton (!). Our first morning in San Jose and the waiter showed up with a curious-looking sock into which he proceeded to pour hot water. It produced the best cup of coffee I had ever experienced - Costa Rican Tarrazu. I used a bolsita exclusively for years. I am very happy to have been reintroduced to this “technology.” It’s great! Thank you!
