Owner Don Angel is showing off the wonderful green cherries that in 6 months will become Oro Magico roasted coffee beans

This wonderful coffee was grown at an altitude of 5,000 feet (1,400m) in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. High altitude growing makes the beans more dense and flavorful.

Oro Mágico uses local people to hand pick the coffee only when the coffee is ripe and not all at once. This method improves the coffee flavor while at the same time helps sustain the community.

The coffee is roasted in small batches and immediately packaged in multilayered bags to preserve freshness and protect from humidity.

The result is a delicate balance of aroma, body, and freshness.
