Ceramic Bowl

This hand-made ceramic bowl is from Guaitil, Costa Rica. Using only local natural colors and mud, each one is thrown by an indigenous Chorotegan artisan using traditional methods and materials passed down through generations. The design is not painted, but carved by the artisan after the first firing.

The small bowl is about 5 inches (13cm) in diameter and 2 inches (4.5cm) tall and is perfect for keeping your change and keys or for serving salsa, nuts and candies.

Since these pistachio-hued bowls are one-of-a-kind, the one you receive may look slightly different than shown in the photos.
