Torunes farm grows 100% Arabica Organic Coffee in the volcanic mountains of north-central Costa Rica.

We sell four Options:

  • Dark Roast
  • Medium Roast
  • Light Roast
  • Honey Processed Medium Roast 

and they can be purchased as whole beans or Medium Grind

Torunes farm partnered with SoulGives nonprofit not just because of their great tasting coffee but they both are fully invested on promoting fair trade.

The beans are handpicked at the moment of perfect ripeness to ensure the best quality, then carefully sun-dried over many days and finally roasted to perfection before immediately packaging them. 

Due to these extra processes, our coffee boasts a deep flavor without the strong acids and bitterness so prevalent in most coffee. The result is a uniquely rich and warming aroma and taste.

The Esquivel family has been proudly farming delicious coffee since 1897. Their Torunes farm is among a small fraction of farms in Costa Rica that do not use artificial pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and harmful fertilizers. Consequently, the farm workers are safer, the environment is cleaner, and the beans end up toxin-free and with a higher concentration of antioxidants
