Locally called chorreadors, a Costa Rican tradition, these are used to make drip coffee. Handmade from Costa Rican Guanacaste wood, each one is unique and displays the skill of the craftsman.
The Chorreador is a manual Pour-over Coffee Dripper with a reusable Cloth Filter (Bolsa de Chorrear Cafe, or bolsita). Put the ground coffee in the reusable cloth filter, then pour boiled water through the filter and into your coffee mug. Costa Ricans are unwavering that this drip-through method makes the best possible coffee.
